    Wellness is a concept
Every person must take personal responsibility
for his or her own state of health.


Wellness is a preventive plan
Every person must make an effort to recognize conditions, situations and practices that may be threatening or have the potential to be detrimental to his or her own health and take the steps to change or eliminate that process in order to live a more healthier and longer life.
 
 
Wellness involves taking an active role in being healthy
Adopting practices that enhance health such as a Low-Fat High-Fiber intake, Exercise,
a balance between work & play and a positive mental & spiritual attitude.
 
Wellness also means reducing health risks and eliminating
practices that add stressful dangers to our life styles.

Wellness takes into consideration more than just our state of physical health
Wellness is often represented as an equilateral triangle, as seen above, with the sides depicting
(MIND -- BODY -- SPIRIT)  or  (Psychological/Mental -- Physical -- Attitude/Emotional).
 
When all three aspects are healthy and in balance optimum Wellness is experienced.
 
A Wellness-Oriented person strives to attain a healthy balance between these three.

   
There will only ever be 1 you.
